About the Breeder

Hi! Welcome to Isle of Doxies. Our name came to be after the gorgeous coastal South Carolina beach, Isle of Palms. We have a great love for coastal life and the cutest k-9s to ever exist, miniature dachshunds. We love them so much, we made the decision to share them with all of you.

We are a retired Army, veteran-owned family in Tennessee, where we happily reside. Isle of Doxies is built upon ethical and compassionate breeding. All four of our dachshunds are part of our family and spoiled beyond measure. Each litter brings us immense joy, and we hope they bring you just as much happiness.

Our Standards

Every miniature dachshund puppy we raise is born and raised inside our home, not in a kennel or outbuilding. They grow up around people, around everyday household sounds, and around the kind of normal life they’ll be stepping into when they come home with you. By the time they’re ready to go, they already know what love feels like.

Before any puppy leaves us, they’re health tested, fully groomed, and up to date on shots through 8 weeks of age. Every puppy is CKC-registered, which means their lineage is documented and verified, not just our word. We provide that paperwork with every placement, no exceptions. We don’t cut corners on the common coats, and we put the same care into every rare one.

We also start potty training as early as possible. By the time your puppy comes home at 8 weeks, they’re already well on their way to going in a specific spot, which makes the transition into your home a whole lot smoother.

Our Process

For the health and well-being of the puppies and our dachshunds, and for the safety of our family, we do not accept home visits or residential pickups.

After an application is submitted, we are happy to schedule a video meeting so you can admire the puppies and get a sense of their personality and temperament prior to pickup at a disclosed public location.

We also love sending weekly updates, videos, and photos up until pickup because we know how exciting it is to welcome home your new bundle of joy.
